If you are traveling by car within Coconino National Forest, navigate to Highway 89A. From there, head southeast on Highway 89A towards Oak Creek Canyon. The park entrance is approximately 7 miles from the junction of Highway 89A and Highway 179. Look for the Slide Rock State Park sign on your right. Please note that there is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle (as of the latest information).

Currently, there are no direct public transportation options to Slide Rock State Park from within Coconino National Forest. However, you can take a shuttle service from nearby towns like Sedona.
