Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Sedona Main Street area, which is a central location for tourists. From here, head south on Arizona State Route 89A. Walk along the right side of the highway for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Dry Creek Road. There is a pedestrian walkway for safety. At the junction, turn left onto Dry Creek Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. The scenery will start to change as you get closer to the Red Rock area. As you approach the intersection with Upper Red Rock Loop Road, look for signs indicating the direction to Red Rock Crossing. Continue straight for another 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Red Rock Crossing area.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, start at the Sedona Bike & Bean, a popular rental shop located in the central Sedona area. Rent a bike there and head south on Arizona State Route 89A. You will have to bike for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Dry Creek Road. Turn left onto Dry Creek Road and continue biking for about 1.5 miles. Watch for cyclists and be cautious of vehicles. Once you reach the intersection with Upper Red Rock Loop Road, continue straight for another 0.5 miles. You will find bike racks at the entrance to Red Rock Crossing, where you can safely park your bike.

• Public Transport

  Take the Verde Lynx public transit bus from the Sedona Main Street area. Board the bus heading towards Cottonwood and ask the driver to let you off at the Dry Creek Road stop. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes to reach your stop. Once you get off, you will need to walk for about 0.5 miles down Dry Creek Road until you reach the entrance to Red Rock Crossing. Please check the bus schedule in advance to ensure a timely journey.
