Public Transit
From the center of Sedona, head to the nearest bus stop. Board the Verde Lynx bus (Route 2) towards Cottonwood. Make sure to check the bus schedule for exact times. Ride the bus until you reach the stop for the 'Slide Rock State Park' and get off. From the bus stop, you’ll need to walk approximately 0.5 miles down Route 89A. Follow the signs towards Slide Rock State Park, which will be on your left. Enjoy the scenic views along the walk!
Biking
If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Sedona. Start from the Uptown Sedona area and take the path along Route 89A heading north. The ride is about 7 miles and will take you through beautiful landscapes. Follow the signs for Slide Rock State Park as you approach. Once you reach the park entrance, secure your bike at one of the bike racks provided.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the center of Sedona and take a scenic route. Walk along Route 89A heading north for approximately 7 miles. Be sure to stay on the sidewalks and watch for traffic, as this is a busy road. As you approach Slide Rock State Park, you will see signs indicating the entrance. This is a long walk, so consider bringing water and sun protection.
