McCormick Ranch Golf Club, a public 36-hole golf facility, is located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona. What began as alfalfa fields in 1942 blossomed into one of Arizona's finest communities. In 1972, the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, designed by Desmond Muirhead, opened its doors to the public. The Palm and Pine courses offer traditional designs, challenging layouts, and beautiful scenery.The Palm Course is known for its panoramic mountain vistas and sparkling lakes, with water coming into play on 10 of its holes. The 9th hole was featured in Golf Illustrated's Top 18 Water Holes of America. The Pine Course, the longer of the two, demands solid shot-making to avoid the plentiful water hazards. Both courses are par-72 and have four sets of tees, accommodating players of all abilities.McCormick Ranch Golf Club has hosted numerous tournaments, including the Arizona Open, the State Amateur, and U.S. Open Qualifiers. The club also boasts excellent practice facilities, including one of the largest putting greens in the Southwest, chipping areas, practice bunkers, and a driving range. The McCormick Ranch Golf Club is open 365 days a year.
