To reach the Pima County Fairgrounds from downtown Tucson, start by heading to the Ronstadt Transit Center. Catch the Sun Tran bus route 16 or 17 towards South Tucson. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Houghton Rd and Valencia Rd. From there, transfer to bus route 21 heading south. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Houghton Rd and the Fairgrounds entrance. The Pima County Fairgrounds will be on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-share stations in downtown Tucson. Head east on Congress St until you reach 6th Ave, then turn south. Continue on 6th Ave until you reach the intersection of 22nd St. Turn east on 22nd St and follow it until you reach Houghton Rd. Turn south on Houghton Rd and continue for about 5 miles. The Pima County Fairgrounds will be on your right.
