Turn east on Continental Road and follow the signs to Madera Canyon, about 13 miles away. The final approach involves driving along Madera Canyon Road (FR 62/70), a paved scenic route that winds through the canyon. Be prepared for a day-use fee of $8 per vehicle, payable with cash or check at fee stations within the canyon. Electronic pass pay stations are available at the Proctor and Round Up parking areas. Display your pass clearly on your dashboard to avoid a citation.
