Parking is available throughout the park near the various attractions and facilities. Parking is free generally, but special events may have a parking fee.

From downtown Little Rock, take the Rock Region METRO bus. Several routes serve areas near Burns Park, but you may need to transfer. Check the Rock Region METRO website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and route information. A single ride fare is $1.25.
Walking

Burns Park, a sprawling 1,700-acre oasis in North Little Rock, Arkansas, offers a diverse array of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. Its history is as rich as its landscape; the land was once a military training camp called Camp Pike during World War I and later Camp Robinson. Remnants of this past can still be found along the park's trails.In 1949, Dr. William Burns, a former North Little Rock mayor and passionate advocate for public parks, spearheaded the effort to transform the surplus military land into a recreational space for the community. The park was named in his honor in 1950.Today, Burns Park is a hub of activity, featuring :* **Sports Facilities:** 17 soccer fields, 22 tennis courts (including indoor courts), basketball courts, softball and baseball complexes, and golf courses. * **Outdoor Fun:** Two 18-hole disc golf courses, a water ski lake, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, and camping grounds. * **Unique Attractions:** Funland Amusement Park, a historic covered bridge, a Union Pacific caboose, and a World War II tank.The park also connects to the 15-mile Arkansas River Trail, offering scenic views and access to other parks and attractions.
