Founded in 1974, the museum, also known as the Stuttgart Agricultural Museum and the Arkansas County Museum, is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Arkansas County, with a special focus on rice production and duck hunting. One of the most popular displays is the Waterfowl Wing, featuring mounted specimens of waterfowl that frequent the Mississippi Flyway, complete with audio of their calls. See a duck blind, a river bottom guide boat, and a duck call shop. The museum also features farm machinery from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a recreation of early Stuttgart, and a Conestoga covered wagon used in the 1976 American Bicentennial trek. Don't miss the Grand Prairie Village, a scaled-down replica of a historic village, and the Prairie School, an actual rural schoolhouse. The Arkansas Waterfowler Hall of Fame is also located here.
