Getting There

• Car

After about 15 miles, turn left onto AR-25 South. Continue on AR-25 for about 6 miles until you see the entrance to Powhatan Historic State Park on your left at 4414 AR-25, Powhatan, AR 72458. There is no admission fee for the park, but make sure to check the operating hours, as it closes at 5 PM.

  If you're using public transportation, start by taking a local bus to the nearest transit hub. From there, you will need to transfer to a regional bus that heads towards Powhatan. • Walking

  Walking to Powhatan Historic State Park from Crowley's Ridge is not practical due to the distance, which is approximately 21 miles. However, if you are in a nearby area, you can walk to AR-25 and follow the same directions as for the bicycle route. Ensure you have adequate supplies, wear comfortable shoes, and stay hydrated if you choose this option.
