    Village Creek State Park is located near Wynne, Arkansas. From Interstate 40, take Exit 242 near Forrest City and travel 13 miles north on State Highway 284. Alternatively, from Wynne, travel 6 miles south on Highway 284 to reach the park. Once on Highway 284, follow the signs to the park entrance. Roads within the park are paved and well-maintained, leading to various facilities. Parking is available at the visitor center and near the beach for day-use visitors.

Village Creek State Park encompasses nearly 7,000 acres of beautiful forested hills and clear streams, creating a unique environment on Crowley's Ridge in eastern Arkansas. The park's landscape features two lakes, Lake Austell and Lake Dunn, perfect for fishing and boating. Anglers can try their luck at catching catfish, bass, and sunfish. Golfers can enjoy The Ridges at Village Creek, an Andy Dye-designed 27-hole championship golf course. The visitor center features interpretive displays about the culture, history, and wildlife of Crowley's Ridge, as well as information on the tribes that traveled the Trail of Tears.
