Discover more about Eureka Springs Music Park

Eureka Springs Music Park is a one-of-a-kind destination where visitors can immerse themselves in a world of interactive sound sculptures. Established in 2008, this park spans over an acre of lush, forested terrain near the heart of Eureka Springs. The park is a collaborative effort that celebrates the city's vibrant artistic community and musical heritage. The park features a range of innovative and interactive installations, including xylophones, drums, and marimbas. These robust structures are intricately designed to produce tones that resonate beautifully across the park's sprawling greenery. The unique aspect of the Eureka Springs Music Park is the harmonic tuning of all instruments to one another. All sound sculptures are made primarily of found and re-purposed materials and can be played by hand or with soft mallets provided. The centerpiece of the Music Park is a 20-foot-long chime arbor called GPAC (Give Peace a Chance). The second piece, Ranagophone, is a six-piece pentatonically tuned slit-drum sculpture that pays homage to "Stonehenge". The third piece, Ozarkophone, is made of weatherproof pressure-treated pine for extra durability and sound performance. The fourth sculpture was created by the Eureka Springs High School Art Club. Visitors can also enjoy the park's picnic areas, making it a wonderful spot for families or groups to relax and enjoy a musical outing together. The park regularly hosts live performances, local bands, and community events that showcase the rich musical heritage of the region.
