From downtown Fort Smith, near the intersection of Garrison Avenue and 7th Street, head north on 7th Street towards the river. Continue onto North A Street, and walk towards the Arkansas River Bridge. Harry E. Kelley River Park will be located beneath the bridge. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes.
Driving
From Interstate 540, take exit 8B for Garrison Avenue toward Fort Smith Downtown. Follow Garrison Avenue east. Turn left onto N 6th St, then turn right onto Riverfront Drive. Continue on Riverfront Drive until you reach Harry E. Kelley River Park, located beneath the Arkansas River Bridge. Limited on-site parking is available. Public parking lots are also available near Garrison Avenue and 2nd Street, and at 800 Rogers Avenue. Parking fees at public lots typically range from $3-5 per hour.
