Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Fort Smith, head north on Garrison Avenue towards 6th Street. Continue to follow Garrison Avenue as it turns into Midland Boulevard. You will walk approximately 2 miles. Keep an eye out for the signs as you approach the intersection with the 4400 block of Midland Boulevard. Kay Rodgers Park is located on the right side of the road. The park entrance is clearly marked.

  • Public Transit

    From the Fort Smith Transit Center, take the Route 4 bus towards the Midland Boulevard area. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the intersection of Midland Boulevard and 44th Street. From there, walk east along Midland Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. Kay Rodgers Park will be on your left, and the entrance is well-marked.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Fort Smith. Starting from the Riverfront Park, head west on the bike path towards the intersection of 6th Street. Once you reach Garrison Avenue, turn left and continue on Garrison Avenue until it turns into Midland Boulevard. Follow Midland Boulevard for approximately 2 miles, and you will see Kay Rodgers Park on your right.
