Driving
Lake Catherine State Park is located approximately 8 miles southeast of Hot Springs, Arkansas. From Hot Springs, take Highway 270 East and turn right onto Carpenter Dam Road. Then, turn left onto Highway 290, followed by a left onto Highway 171. Follow Highway 171 into the park. Alternatively, from I-30, take Exit 97 and go north 12 miles on Highway 171 into the park. Parking is available throughout the park, including at the visitor center, picnic area, and marina. Parking in the marina parking lot is free. Expect higher traffic during summer months.
