Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Jonesboro, head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with N Church Street. Turn left onto N Church Street and continue walking until you reach E Nettleton Avenue. Turn right onto E Nettleton Avenue and continue for approximately 1 mile. This will lead you to S Culberhouse Rd. Turn left onto S Culberhouse Rd, and Craighead Forest Park will be on your right after about half a mile. The park entrance is marked, and you can easily spot it.

• Biking

  For those biking from the Arkansas State University area, start by heading northwest on E Johnson Avenue. Continue until you reach S Culberhouse Rd. Turn left onto S Culberhouse Rd and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. Craighead Forest Park will be on your left. Make sure to use bike lanes where available for a safer ride.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes that go toward Craighead Forest Park. You can catch the bus from various points in Jonesboro. Look for a bus that stops at the Jonesboro Public Library or the Mall at Turtle Creek. From either of these locations, you may need to transfer to a bus that runs along S Culberhouse Rd. Get off at the nearest stop to the park, which is located close to the entrance.
