Start from downtown Jonesboro. Head east on Main Street, then turn left onto Union Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Nettleton Avenue (US-63). Turn right onto East Nettleton Avenue and follow it to the north. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the junction with AR-141. Turn left onto AR-141 and follow the road for about 5 miles. Lake Frierson State Park will be on your right at 7904 AR-141.

Begin at the Jonesboro Public Transportation bus stop near downtown. Take the Route 1 bus heading north towards the Mall. Transfer to Route 3 at the mall, which goes towards the East Arkansas Community College. After, get off at the stop closest to AR-141. From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to Lake Frierson State Park. Walk north on AR-141 for approximately 1 mile until you reach the park entrance at 7904 AR-141.
