Gatson Bates Dr. toward Park St. Continue straight onto W 14th St. After about a quarter of a mile, turn left onto Broadway St. Continue walking on Broadway St for about half a mile, and you will arrive at the Site of Historic Fort Steele, located in Downtown Little Rock at the coordinates 34.7344484, -92.2803029.

    From the River Market District, walk to the nearest bus stop at 3rd & Main St. Take the Rock Region Metro Route 4 bus towards the State Capitol. Ride for approximately 5 stops and get off at the 8th & Main stop. From there, walk north on Main St, then turn right onto W 9th St. Continue walking until you reach the Site of Historic Fort Steele in Downtown Little Rock.

  • Biking

    If you have a bike, start at the Little Rock River Trail. Head southeast towards the Arkansas River. Upon reaching the riverfront, follow the bike path along the river until you reach the junction with the Main St. bridge. Cross the river and continue straight onto Main St. Once you reach W 9th St, turn left, and you will find the Site of Historic Fort Steele located at the intersection of Main St and W 9th St.
