Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the North Little Rock City Hall (300 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114), exit the building and head south on Main St toward W 4th St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Arkansas River. Once you reach the river, take the pedestrian bridge (the Big Dam Bridge) that leads to Little Rock. As you cross the bridge, enjoy the scenic views of the river. Upon reaching the other side, continue straight onto Riverfront Park. Follow the park path until you reach the intersection with W Markham St. Turn left onto W Markham St, and after a short walk, you will find the Old State House Museum at 300 W Markham St on your right.

    From the North Little Rock Transit Center (located at 1 Riverfront Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72114), take the Metro Streetcar towards the River Market. Ride the streetcar for approximately 10 minutes and disembark at the stop for the Arkansas State Capitol. After exiting, head west on W Capitol Ave toward S Broadway St. Continue straight for two blocks until you reach W Markham St. Turn right, and you will see the Old State House Museum at 300 W Markham St on your left.
