North Shore Riverwalk Park: A Riverside Oasis

North Shore Riverwalk Park is a three-acre park located on the north side of the Arkansas River in North Little Rock. This scenic park provides lighted sidewalks, a jogging trail, and a bike path, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities. The park is also home to the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum, where visitors can tour the USS Razorback, a historic submarine.The park marks a significant point on the Trail of Tears, commemorating the forced removal of Native American tribes in the early 1800s. Interpretive panels along the path tell the stories of the Cherokee, Choctaw, Muscogee, Chickasaw, and Seminole nations, offering a reflective experience.Besides its historical significance, North Shore Riverwalk Park offers a family-friendly environment with picnic areas, a playground, and a boat ramp.
