To reach Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area from Wickes, AR, head east on US-278. The park's visitor center is approximately 8 miles east of Wickes, directly on US-278 where the highway crosses the Cossatot River. There is no fee for parking at the visitor center. Be aware that some interior park roads are gravel and may require four-wheel drive. There are designated parking areas at the campsites and river access points.
