    From downtown Russellville, walking to Bona Dea Trails & Sanctuary is a considerable distance (approximately 4 miles) and may take over an hour. Head north on Arkansas Avenue, which eventually turns into Lakefront Drive. Follow Lakefront Drive until you reach the sanctuary entrance on your left. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water for the walk.

Bona Dea also includes a parcourse, which is a complete fitness program with 18 exercise stations spread throughout the trail system. The eastern entrance is ADA accessible and provides public restroom facilities with ample parking. The trails are mostly hard-surfaced, making it suitable as a jogging and fitness trail.
