The Delta Heritage Trail State Park offers a unique recreational experience, converting an abandoned Union Pacific Railroad corridor into a scenic trail for hikers and cyclists. The park is located in the Mississippi Alluvial Plain, also known as the Arkansas Delta, and stretches across Phillips, Arkansas, and Desha counties.The trail is being developed in phases, with approximately 69.3 miles currently open for public use. The completed sections include a northern corridor from Lexa to Snow Lake and a southern section between Arkansas City and the White River at Yancopin.
