    Cosmic Cavern is located at 6386 AR-21, Berryville, AR 72616, approximately halfway between Eureka Springs and Branson, Missouri. From either city, take Highway 21 to the north of Berryville. The cavern is well-signed and has its own parking lot. Parking is free.

Discovered in 1845 by prospectors searching for lead, the cave has evolved from a mining site to a premier show cave, boasting the title of Arkansas's largest privately-owned cave.The cave's history is rich and varied. Early miners extracted onyx, and in the 1920s, the cave even supplied gear shift knobs for Model A Fords. Since 1980, the Langhover family has owned and operated Cosmic Cavern, continually revealing new sections and features. The most significant discovery occurred in 1993 when a new section was found, including another subterranean lake, expanding the tour and adding the renowned "Oh My God" room.Today, Cosmic Cavern offers guided walking tours that showcase its stunning formations, including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, cave bacon, and the famed nine-foot soda straw – the longest known in the Ozarks. The cave maintains a constant 64°F temperature and 96% humidity, making it the warmest cave in the Ozarks. Visitors can also explore two bottomless cave lakes, home to unique species like the Ozark blind salamander.
