Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Alaverdi, head southwest on Tigran Petrosyan Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ararat Street. Turn right onto Ararat Street and walk about 500 meters until you reach the bus station. Here, you will find marshrutkas (shared minibuses) heading towards Stepanavan. Board one of these marshrutkas, which will take you closer to your destination. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

  • Walking and Hiking

    Once you arrive at the stop in Arevatsag, get off at the nearest point to Arevatsag Canyon, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers away. To reach the canyon, follow the dirt path heading northeast from the bus stop. The trail will lead you through scenic views and will take around 30-40 minutes of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trek can be steep in parts.
