Getting There

Walking
Start at the Alaverdi bus station. Exit the station and head southeast on the main road (H24). Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path which leads you further along H24. Keep walking for about another 1.5 kilometers, and you will start to see signs for Hnevank. As you approach, you will need to take a right turn towards Kurtan. The monastery will be a short walk from there, located on a small hill.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Alaverdi bus station. Head southeast on the main road (H24). Continue straight for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for a fork in the road; take the left path to stay on H24. Continue cycling for another 1.5 kilometers until you see signs pointing to Hnevank. Turn right towards Kurtan, and the monastery will be located up a small hill just ahead.

From Alaverdi, walk to the nearest bus stop on H24. Look for a minibus heading to Kurtan. These minibuses run frequently. Inform the driver you want to go to Hnevank. The trip should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the monastery, and from there, it will be a short walk uphill to reach Hnevank.
