From the center of Alaverdi, head southeast towards the main road (M6). Walk along the road in the direction of Kober Village. You will pass by local shops and cafes; it is a scenic route with views of the surrounding mountains. Continue straight for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach Kober Village. As you enter the village, look for signs pointing towards Kobayr Monastery. Follow the signs uphill for about 1 kilometer until you reach the monastery complex.
