Getting There

Walking from Alaverdi
Start at the central square in Alaverdi, near the statue of the local hero. Head south on Aghvtankyan Street until you reach the intersection with Tigran Mets Avenue. Turn left onto Tigran Mets Avenue and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Aygehovit. Board the marshrutka and enjoy a scenic ride for approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Aygehovit, disembark at the nearest stop and ask locals for directions to Srvegh Monastery. The monastery is about a 10-15 minute walk from the marshrutka stop. Follow the dirt path leading uphill, and you will soon see the monastery in the distance.
