Public Transport
To reach Darpas Ler via public transport, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Aparan to Dzoraglukh. Minibuses typically depart from the main bus station in Aparan, with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. The fare is around 300 AMD. From Dzoraglukh, you can ask locals for directions to Darpas Ler, which involves a walk or taxi ride to the mountain's base. Note that the final approach may require a 4WD vehicle due to unpaved roads. Cost: - Minibus from Aparan to Dzoraglukh: ~300 AMD
Car
If driving from Aparan Reservoir, take the main road (H3) towards Dzoraglukh. Continue for about 14 kilometers and look for the turnoff to Dzoraglukh village on your right. Follow the road signs to Dzoraglukh. Once in the village, the route to Darpas Ler involves driving on a gravel road for approximately 2 kilometers. Park at the designated area and walk the remaining distance to the mountain. Be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be necessary for the final stretch. Cost: - Parking near the mountain base: Free
Walking
If you are already in Dzoraglukh, Darpas Ler is accessible by walking. Head towards the mountain from the village center, following local paths. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers on a well-trodden dirt path. Wear suitable footwear due to the uneven terrain. Cost: - None
