Walking
Start at the Dilijan town center. From the central park, head east on Myasnikyan Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kamo Street. Turn left onto Kamo Street and follow it as it turns into a dirt path leading into the forest. This path will take you towards the Haghartsin Monastery area. Keep following the signs for the monastery, which is located approximately 8 kilometers from the town center.

Once you arrive at Haghartsin Monastery, take a short break to explore the area. From the monastery, you can start the hike up to Mount Haghartsin. Follow the marked hiking trails that lead up the mountain. The ascent is moderate and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Be prepared for a hike of about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace, to reach the summit of Mount Haghartsin.

Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local minibus (marshrutka) from the Dilijan bus station towards Ijevan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Haghartsin Monastery stop. After getting off, follow the path leading to the monastery and then continue your hike to Mount Haghartsin as described above.
