If driving, head towards Sarukhan village, accessible via the M1 highway. Once in Sarukhan, follow signs to Gridzor. The GPS coordinates are approximately 40.2239° N, 45.0112° E. Follow the road into the Geghama Mountains. Expect to pay for parking in designated areas near the hiking trails. Parking costs are minimal.
Public Transport
From Yerevan, take a minibus (#313) to Sarukhan from the Northern Bus Station. The fare is approximately 1100 AMD. From Sarukhan village, a taxi to the Gridzor hiking area will cost around 1000-1500 AMD. Alternatively, you can walk from Sarukhan to Gridzor, which is approximately 6km.
Taxi
From Yerevan, a taxi to Gridzor would cost approximately 7,000 - 9,000 AMD and take around 1.5-2 hours. Taxis are readily available in Yerevan and can be booked via the GG Taxi app. From Sarukhan village, a taxi to the Gridzor hiking area will cost around 1000-1500 AMD.
