From the center of Haghpat, start by heading southwest towards the main road. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signs directing you to Alaverdi. Follow the road until you reach the intersection near the Haghpat Monastery. Take a left at the intersection towards Alaverdi. Continue straight along the path, which will gradually lead you downhill. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the edge of Alaverdi. At this point, you will see the Sanahin Bridge just ahead along the road. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the bridge, which is a beautiful historical site.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the main square in Haghpat. Head southwest on the main road leading out of Haghpat. The route is mostly downhill and scenic, taking you through small villages and lush landscapes. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the outskirts of Alaverdi. Keep an eye out for the signs that mark the way to Sanahin Bridge. Follow the designated bike lanes and paths that will lead you directly to the bridge. This journey will provide you with a unique view of the area.
