Walking
From the center of Haghpat, head east on the main road leading out of the village. Continue straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path that leads downhill towards the river. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach a bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight. After crossing, you will see a sign directing you to Sanahin Monastery. Follow this path uphill, and after approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Sanahin Monastery Complex. The walk is scenic and provides beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Locate the nearest minibus stop in Haghpat, which is typically near the village center. Look for a minibus heading towards Alaverdi. When you board, inform the driver you wish to get off at Sanahin.
