Freedom Square, located in the Kentron district of Yerevan, is more than just a physical space; it's a symbol of Armenia's aspirations for freedom and democracy. Formerly known as Theatre Square during the Soviet era, it was renamed in 1991 to commemorate Armenia's independence.
