If you're traveling by car, head towards Vanadzor, the largest city in the Lori region. From Vanadzor, take the E117 highway north towards Stepanavan. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit for Stepanavan, and follow the signs for the Tashir region. Continue on the road until you reach the village of Matosavank, which is located about 5 kilometers from Stepanavan. The monastery is situated on a hill, and you will see it from the road. Park your car in the designated area and take a short walk uphill to reach the monastery.
