Mendz Er Cave: A Multifaceted Armenian Experience

Mendz Er Cave, located in the Lori Province of Armenia near the city of Alaverdi, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and recreation. One corner displays a maquette of a 200-year-old metallurgical Alaverdi forge, demonstrating its metalworking process, and a model of the Alaverdi bridge. Mendz Er Cave also functions as a restaurant serving Armenian cuisine. Visitors can savor local and national dishes while enjoying the cave's cool, earthy ambiance. The menu includes traditional kebabs, fresh salads, and homemade pizzas, complemented by local wines and beverages. The cave also has a bakery, café, and bar.
