Car
From Lori, head south on the M4 highway towards Yerevan. Continue on M4 for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Geghard Monastery, which is located near the village of Garni. Once you see the signs, take the exit towards Garni and follow the road until you reach the monastery. There is a parking area available near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Minibus)
From the center of Lori, find a minibus station (often referred to as a 'marshrutka' station). Look for a minibus heading to Garni. The fare is approximately 500 AMD (Armenian Dram). The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Garni, you may need to take a taxi or walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach Geghard Monastery. Taxis are often available at the drop-off point.
