Car
If you are driving from Vanadzor, head southwest on the M6 highway towards Spitak. Continue on the M6 for about 25 km until you reach the intersection with the M1 highway. Take the exit onto M1 towards Hrazdan. After approximately 15 km, take the exit for Marmashen. Follow the signs towards Marmashen, and you'll reach your destination in about 10 minutes.
Public Transportation
From Vanadzor, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Hrazdan. The marshrutka departs from the main bus station in Vanadzor. The fare is approximately 500 AMD (around $1.30). After about 45 minutes, you will arrive at the junction for Marmashen. From there, you can either walk (about 4 km) or take a local taxi to the Marmashen Monastery for around 1000 AMD (around $2.60).
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route, you can take a taxi from Vanadzor directly to Marmashen. This option is more expensive, costing around 5000 AMD (approximately $13). The drive will take about 30 minutes, and you can arrange for the taxi to wait for you while you explore the monastery.
