To reach Mount Aragats from Yerevan using public transport, head to the Kilikia Bus Station. Look for a bus or shared minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Ashtarak or the village of Aragats. The fare typically ranges from 300-500 AMD. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the base of Mount Aragats. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. From there, follow signs or ask locals for directions to the hiking trails.
Taxi
A taxi from Yerevan to Mount Aragats takes about 40-60 minutes and costs approximately 3,000-5,000 AMD, depending on traffic.
