Driving
To reach Gegharot Waterfall by car, start from Yerevan and head northwest on the M1 highway towards Ashtarak. After approximately 30 km, turn off towards the Aragats Mountain area, following signs for Byurakan. From Byurakan, continue towards the village of Aragats. The road to the waterfall can be challenging, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is available near the trailhead. From there, hike approximately 12 km to the waterfall. There are no tolls. Parking is free.

To reach Gegharot Waterfall via public transport, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan to Ashtarak. From Ashtarak, catch another marshrutka heading to Byurakan. From Byurakan, you will need to take a taxi or find a local driver to take you to the village of Aragats, as public transport is limited beyond Byurakan. The marshrutka from Yerevan to Ashtarak costs approximately 200-300 AMD. The taxi from Byurakan to the village of Aragats may cost around 1,500-2,500 AMD. From the village, hike approximately 12 km to the waterfall.
