    If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the Shikahogh State Reserve entrance, located near the village of Shikahogh. From there, take the main road (Amberd Road) heading northwest. Turn onto the marked path which will take you directly to the fortress parking area. Please note that there may be a small parking fee (around 1000 AMD) to park at the designated area.

    To reach Amberd fortress via public transportation, first take a local bus or minibus from the nearby town of Goris to the village of Shikahogh. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the fare is typically around 300 AMD.
