Car
From Shirak, head southeast on the M-1 highway towards Gyumri. Continue on M-1 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Gusanagyugh. Turn onto the local road (MQ8R+C4M) heading towards the fortress. The fortress should be visible from the road. There is no entry fee for visiting the fortress.

Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from the main bus station in Shirak towards Gyumri. The marshrutka ride costs approximately 300 AMD and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gyumri, transfer to another marshrutka heading to Gusanagyugh. The fare for this leg is approximately 200 AMD. After arriving in Gusanagyugh, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer towards the fortress, which is easily accessible on foot.
