Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from Republic Square, head southwest towards Abovyan Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Mashtots Avenue. Turn left on Mashtots Avenue and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the impressive building of the Opera and Ballet Theatre on your right side. Keep walking straight, and you will arrive at Freedom Square, which is right in front of the theatre.

Public Transport (Metro)
If you're near a metro station, take the Yerevan Metro and board the train at the Republic Square Metro Station (Hanrapetutyan Hraparak). Travel one stop towards the Marshal Baghramyan direction and alight at the next stop, which is the 'Yeritasardakan' station. Upon exiting the station, head northwest towards the Opera and Ballet Theatre. Freedom Square will be directly adjacent to the theatre, just a short walk from the station.

If you're coming from the Cascade Complex, exit the complex and head down towards Tumanyan Street. Turn left onto Tumanyan Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Mashtots Avenue. Turn right onto Mashtots Avenue and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will see the Opera and Ballet Theatre on your left side. Freedom Square is located right in front of the theatre.
