Abram Abrahamyan, a talented engineer, designed the original light and sound show, which quickly became a beloved attraction. After a period of silence following the collapse of the USSR, the fountains were renovated in 2006 and reopened to the public. Thanks to French specialists, the fountains were modernized, enhancing their visual and auditory impact.Today, the fountains operate from late spring to mid-fall, with shows typically beginning around 9 PM. The repertoire includes classical music, jazz, rock, and pop, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience. Each performance culminates with Charles Aznavour's iconic song, "Eternal Love". The fountains are located near cafes and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a meal or drink while watching the show.     The Singing Fountains are located in Republic Square, the central square of Yerevan, making them easily accessible on foot from many points in the city center. From Abovyan Street, simply walk towards Republic Square; the fountains will be on your left. From the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, head southeast for approximately 1.5 kilometers (20 minutes) until you reach Abovyan Street, then turn right. The fountains will be on your left. No costs are involved.

    Yerevan's public transportation system includes buses, trolleybuses, and a metro. Several bus routes serve Republic Square. Take the metro to the Republic Square station. Bus and metro fares are 100 AMD. Trolleybus fare is 50 AMD.
