    From Republic Square, head west along Abovyan Street towards Yerevan State University. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sayat Nova Avenue. Turn right onto Sayat Nova Avenue and walk until you reach the corner with A. Tigran Street. Here, you can catch a bus or minibus (route 1 or 3) heading towards Kaputan. Alight at the stop closest to Kaputan village. From there, Kaptavank Church is a short walk uphill.
