Discover more about Boca Prins

Boca Prins is a captivating destination showcasing Aruba's raw natural beauty. Located on the northeast coast within Arikok National Park, the bay is framed by dramatic white sand dunes sloping into a narrow beach, enclosed by rugged limestone cliffs. The persistent wind and wild waves create a dramatic atmosphere, a feast for the senses. Named after a former plantation, Prins, the beach offers a unique landscape, far removed from the calm waters and sunbathing crowds of Aruba's more popular beaches. Instead, visitors can witness the power of nature as the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea relentlessly pound the shore. While swimming is strongly discouraged due to dangerous currents, Boca Prins offers plenty to explore. Wooden stairs lead down to the beach, allowing visitors to walk along the shore and admire the stunning contrast between the pink-tinged sand and the deep blue ocean. Hiking enthusiasts can embark on the Boca Prins – Dos Playa Loop Trail, a moderately challenging path that winds through the dunes, past Fountain Cave, and along the coastal cliffs to Dos Playa. Photographers will find endless inspiration in the scenery, from the sweeping views of the desert landscape to the close-up details of the rugged rock formations. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, such as iguanas and various bird species.
