Getting There

• Walking

  From the Oranjestad city center, head west on Lloyd G. Smith Blvd. The I Heart Aruba Sign is located at Lloyd G. Smith Blvd 150, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the central bus station. Enjoy the stroll along the waterfront, passing shops and restaurants along the way.

• Public Transport

  Take the Arubus from the hotel area to the central bus station in Oranjestad. From there, it's a 15-20 minute walk west on Lloyd G. Smith Blvd to the sign. Arubus runs frequently between Oranjestad and the resort areas. A single fare is approximately $2-$3 USD. Alternatively, from the bus terminal, you can take a local taxi for a small fee (approximately $7 - $10 USD).

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available throughout Oranjestad and the resort areas. A taxi ride from the high-rise hotel area to the I Heart Aruba Sign will cost approximately $31 USD. From the airport to Oranjestad, the fixed rate is $21 USD. Note that there may be a $3 surcharge on Sundays, official holidays, and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Car

  If driving from Eagle Beach, head east on J.E. Irausquin Blvd toward Oranjestad. Turn left onto Lloyd G. Smith Blvd. Continue for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see the I Heart Aruba Sign on your right. Parking is available nearby in marked white parking areas. Paid parking is enforced in this area. The tariff is approximately $0.55 USD for 30 minutes.
