From the main street, Zeppenfeldstraat, walk east towards the Nicolaas Store/Community Museum. The gallery is a short walk from the main bus station. The murals are spread throughout the downtown area and are easily accessible on foot. Remember to look up and around as art can be found on many buildings.
Public Transport
From Oranjestad, take the Arubus Route 10 or 10A to San Nicolas. The bus trip takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the main bus terminal in San Nicolas. From there, walk west on Zeppenfeldstraat towards the main part of town. The ArtisA Gallery and many murals are within a short walking distance. A single-trip bus fare is approximately $2.60 USD.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Aruba, including from the airport and the high-rise hotel areas. A taxi from Oranjestad to San Nicolas will cost around $46 USD. Ask the taxi driver to take you to the main street in San Nicolas, Zeppenfeldstraat. From there, you can easily walk to the ArtisA Gallery and begin your mural tour. Taxi fares are fixed but it is always good to confirm with the driver before starting your journey.
Driving
From Oranjestad, follow Lloyd G. Smith Blvd south, which turns into Route 1A towards San Nicolas. The drive is approximately 30 minutes. Once in San Nicolas, street parking is available, but be aware of parking signs to avoid fines. Recommended parking lots include the Arubus parking lot, near the San Nicolas Police Station, and the Santa Theresita Center Square. Parking is generally free. However, be sure to park in designated areas to avoid fines.
