Discover more about Boca Prins

Boca Prins, a hidden gem on Aruba's northeast coast within Arikok National Park, offers a dramatic departure from the island's typical calm, resort-lined beaches. This secluded bay is framed by towering limestone cliffs and expansive sand dunes, creating a stunning contrast with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The beach itself is relatively small, stretching only about 55 meters, but its beauty lies in its untamed nature. The strong currents and crashing waves make swimming dangerous, but the mesmerizing power of the ocean is a sight to behold. The constant trade winds create a dramatic display of nature's force, carving the sand dunes and shaping the rugged coastline. Boca Prins is named after a former plantation, and while the original plantation house is now in ruins, the area retains a sense of history and tranquility. Visitors can explore the nearby Fontein Cave, adorned with ancient Arawak drawings, or hike the Boca Prins - Dos Playa Loop Trail for panoramic coastal views. While swimming is not recommended, the beach is ideal for sunbathing, photography, and simply soaking in the raw beauty of Aruba's wild side.
