Mangel Halto, located in Pos Chiquito, is a breathtaking and secluded beach on Aruba's southwestern coast. This hidden gem is easily accessible yet offers a peaceful retreat, making it a favorite among locals. The beach is known for its calm, shallow waters and rich marine life, supported by an intriguing network of mangroves. These mangroves not only enhance the picturesque charm of the beach but also provide cooling shade, making it ideal for relaxation. The beach features a sandy area, a wooden sun deck, and staircases leading into the water. The shallow lagoon is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Mangel Halto was designated as a marine reserve within the Marine Park Aruba in 2019. Snorkelers and divers can explore a vibrant underwater world with colorful coral formations and tropical fish. The reef plunges to depths of 110 feet, where octopi, morays, and barracuda can be found.
