Discover more about Dos Playa

Dos Playa, meaning 'Two Beaches,' is a stunning pair of coves carved into Aruba's northeastern coast within Arikok National Park. This untouched coastal haven offers a unique beach experience, characterized by its rugged limestone cliffs and powerful waves. Unlike the island's more commercialized beaches, Dos Playa provides a serene escape for those seeking natural beauty and solitude. The two coves, separated by a rocky ridge, each offer a distinct charm. The southern beach is wider, providing space for sunbathing and relaxation. The northern beach, requiring a walk across the southern cove, is often even more secluded. However, swimming is generally not recommended due to the strong currents and powerful waves. Instead, Dos Playa is a popular spot for experienced surfers and bodyboarders who come to challenge the consistent swells. Dos Playa is also an important nesting site for sea turtles, including leatherback, hawksbill, green, and loggerhead turtles. Visitors during nesting season may witness the incredible sight of turtle tracks leading to the sea. With no amenities available, it's essential to bring your own refreshments and beach gear. Dos Playa promises a memorable experience for those who appreciate the untamed beauty of Aruba's coastline.
